Collaborative intelligence across business apps
Shared Experiences & Technology (SET) was a group within Dynamics 365 Sales who focused on building shared capabilities across Dynamics products. This involved collaboration across Dynamics, Power Platform, Power Apps, Teams, and Office.
As part of a co-innovation effort with the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) in 2022, I helped craft a 2-3 year strategic vision that integrated LSEG’s financial data network and Microsoft products across a range of business scenarios centered on collaboration and AI. That evolved into a 10-year partnership to become the largest deal in Microsoft history (est. $5.4 billion).
My role primarily included:
Co-innovation sessions with LSEG and Microsoft Consulting to understand shared capabilities and goals
Identifying seamless, cross-product UX scenarios for key personasCreating innovative and delightful design solutions to drive forward momentum
Collaborating with partner teams to align roadmaps in order to quickly deliver business value while reducing cross-team dysfunction
At the end of the initial phase, I wrote a script and created a vision video for a kickoff between the Microsoft and LSEG CEOs. The vision was successfully received and paved the way for a number of other cross-product initiatives across Microsoft.

For wealth managers managing their clients’ portfolios, we brought together capabilities from Teams and Power BI insights into contextually meaningful views in Dynamics 365 Sales. We called this blend of context and intelligence Context IQ.
The same insights and information were made available in Teams where, as Wealth Managers met with their clients, Context IQ would proactively pull up relevant information in real time.
Secure collaboration was a key driver of user scenario. This includes being able to easily share selective information between internal and external parties in the flow of work.
